Galeto Sat S in Rio de Janeiro

If you're a meat lover this is your place. Charcoal grilled beef and chicken. As a recent vegetarian it wasn't as easy for me, but the garlic bread with tons of fresh garlic was so good I ordered it three times. Also had the shrimp curry which was okay. This place is clearly made for BBQ fans (all my friends confirm). Atmosphere is great and very chilled.

Nice chopp, the fillet sandwich was amazing. Good service.

If you’re reading this, and there’s a bit of a line, and you’re thinking to yourself “is this worth the wait? Is it THAT good?”Trust me. It is. You will not regret waiting for this food. The meat plate in my photo is empty for a reason. Do yourself a favor.

Great place if you are in the mood or real meaty Brazilian good experience. Even just the rotisserie chicken is good but would recommend getting other items as well. I got the broccoli Rice with garlic bits on top, very good. I think anything with fried garlic is good.

One very good reason to visit Rio, from anywhere in the world (unless you're vegetarian). Cozy, authentic, mini steak house serving some of the best chicken, meat and garlic bread I had. Great value, fair prices, cold draft beer (chop!).

Absolutely amazing! Best Brazilian grill we've ever been too - service was personal, felt like a family run place, and food was exceptional. Really snug little restaurant for a quick sit down and eat. It's not the type of place I'd dress up and go for a relaxed evening dinner but it's the best for a hearty selection of meat and accompanying dishes. The mixed platter is the best all-rounder order but be warned... it's definitely too much food for two people, even if you're a big foodie!

Some of the best galeto I have had. Anthony Bourdain's recommendations have never disappointed and this place is a must do early on in your Rio trip, so you can go there a few more times before you head out.

As typical as it can be, Sat's is one the places to know when you're in Rio. Avoid going os weekends, it's always crowded, since the room is not that big, so also avoid going on big groups, 4 people is the perfect number. One Galeto Completo can feed 2 persons easily, whole chicken, rice, fries, farofa and campanha sauce, kind of a vinaigrette, but if you're more into red meat, Picanha is a prime cut, also with a premium price, but overall, it's an affordable restaurant with a premium service, all employees are very efficient and the food is amazing.

This place was absolutely delicious! The roast chicken with lime was one of the juiciest chickens I’ve ever had. the garlic spinach rice went perfectly with it. We went back the following day and ordered the pork belly and another rice dish which was ok but I would definitely recommend ordering chicken since that’s what they’re known for!
